WHAT WE DO !
Illuminated Creations is a professional light service company. Most commonly popular for Christmas light installation but is also responsible for special events such as private parties, festivals, weddings, residential and commercial businesses such as shopping centers and municipal buildings. This company designs the lights, completely installs them, caters to specific needs and also will take down the lights at a reasonable price. The services included in this company were inspired by the basic need to provide assistance to create beautiful lighting effects that are visually appealing and practical.
LOGO AND USAGE !

The name of this company is Illuminated Creations so it is important to have the logo match the theme and style of the company. The goal for this logo was to embrace the simplicity as well as capturing the name with a style that resembles Christmas lights. This company is a light installation service so it is appropriate to use light effects. I believe this logo accomplished the goal of including insight to what they have to offer in this brand. The logo has simple characteristics but it overall develops into a unique design by using a strand of lights to bring color and glow effects to the name of the brand. The logo is used to attract customers and draw attention to the colorful lights.
WEBSITE AND WIREFRAME !
The website is designed to be attention grabbing and visually appealing. Originally, in the Mock Up I had made the website incorporate outlines that I thought were necessary however, when designing the website wireframe on photoshop, the logo of the company stood out better with a dark and very simple color scheme and more important aspects. The goal was to clearly identify the services provided by the company. The background is supposed to resemble snow falling and the idea is to have the background of the homepage incorporate video effects of snow. The snow was an appropriate element because of the company's main service in installing Christmas lights which correspond to the season of Winter and snow.
This logo may not be distorted. This means the colors may not be changed and the logo may not be skewed in any way.
COLOR SET !

The colors chosen for this brand's logo came from the lights created by using the pen tool. The brand is a light installation service so it is important to emphasize their job description and this happened by using the colors. The multi colored lights were based off of colors in the rainbow and a glow effect with the same color was used to consider the lights to be glowing. The bright colors stand out in the logo and the contrast with the black font and strand on the lights to create a visually appealing logo to draw attention to what is offered through this company.
FONT SET !

My brand is focused on the simplicity of the name and the logo. I chose this font because it is a pretty simple format and corresponds well with the design used in the logo. This font is called Fjalla One and is a medium contrast display sans serif. This font was chosen because I admired the boldness and strength in the font. The font goes well with the name of the logo and the overall design.

SITE MAP !
This completed site map is meant to give an organized structure to separate the topics of the company's website . The site map divides sections to each aspect of the navigation bar. Each topic has a drop down selection of secondary categories. For example if you are looking to see a video of lights installed for a scenery of Christmas, that would be found under the video tab found under the Media section. To View ratings and service quality, that would be found under the "Reviews" category. The Home Page acts as an overview to all the other branches of topics in the company.
5 SOURCES OF INSPIRATION !
My first Inspiration came from a light installation service I found on the web. The functions and purposes and services of Illuminated Creations was inspired by this company's certification in Professional light installation. The "Professional Light Installation Service" in the company's logo was inspired by the certification in this company's logo.
The second Inspiration I had was the Illumination Entertainment film and animation studio company. This was an inspiration because of the word itself "Illumination" was a word in my own company and this inspired me. I used a glow effect like in this company and the font selected was a simple but bold and strong font for the Illuminated Creations brand much like this one.
This image of a strand of lights inspired me in the making of my logo. This image found on the internet was used in photoshop. This was traced with the pen tool and converted and manipulated to create a light strand resemblance in my own logo. I used the same colors and added an outer glow to pull off an effect of illuminating Christmas lights. This image provided me with what I needed to create the logo.
This company is one that hangs Christmas lights professionally and was an inspiration to my company's purpose. This is a brand that additionally decorates for the holiday beyond just light installation. I was inspired by this company to incorporate the idea of Christmas lights to be installed. I also got inspiration from the "Professional Holiday Decorators" aspect of this company and changed my own company's to say Professional Light Installation Service.
My final inspiration was this cartoon image of a light bulb. This image of a glowing lightbulb inspired me in the process of creating the logo and adding effects to give a uniqueness factor to my logo. This light bulb has an outer glow effect to it. I was inspired by this to create an outer glow on the bulbs on the light strand however I made a less bold glow and created a more subtle and smooth outer glow effect on each light bulb than this image provides.
